One, two, three, four
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Every time you come around, you know I can’t say no
Every time the sun goes down, I let you take control
I can feel the paradise before my world implodes
And tonight had something wonderful
My bad habits lead to late nights endin’ alone
Conversations with a stranger I barely know
Swearin’ this will be the last, but it probably won’t
I got nothin’ left to lose, or use, or do
My bad habits lead to wide eyes stare into space
And I know I’ll lose control of the things that I say
Yeah, I was lookin’ for a way out, now I can’t escape
Nothin’ happens after two, it’s true
It’s true, my bad habits lead to you
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
My bad habits lead to you
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
My bad habits lead to you
Every pure intention ends when the good times start
Fallin’ over everything to reach the first time’s spark
It started under neon lights, and then it all got dark
I only know how to go too far
My bad habits lead to late nights endin’ alone
Conversations with a stranger I barely know
Swearin’ this will be the last, but it probably won’t
I got nothin’ left to lose, or use, or do
My bad habits lead to wide eyes stare into space
And I know I’ll lose control of the things that I say
Yeah, I was lookin’ for a way out, now I can’t escape
Nothin’ happens after two, it’s true
It’s true, my bad habits lead to you
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
My bad habits lead to you
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
We took the long way ’round
And burned ’til the fun ran out, now
My bad habits lead to late nights endin’ alone
Conversations with a stranger I barely know
Swearin’ this will be the last, but it probably won’t
I got nothin’ left to lose, or use, or do
My bad habits lead to wide eyes stare into space
And I know I’ll lose control of the things that I say
Yeah, I was lookin’ for a way out, now I can’t escape
Nothin’ happens after two, it’s true
It’s true, my bad habits lead to you
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
My bad habits lead to you
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
My bad habits lead to you
About Ed Sheeran
The British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is best known for his singles ‘The A Team’, ‘Lego House’, and ‘Sing’.
Sheeran has a net worth of $35 million (2016), according to various sources.
Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, was Ed’s birthplace. Imogen Lock is a jewelry designer and her father, John Sheeran, is an art curator. He moved with his family to Framlingham, Suffolk, when he was a young child. Sheeran was raised as a Roman Catholic and joined a church choir at the age of four. He began playing guitar and writing songs at Thomas Mills High School. Later, he joined the National Youth Theatre. The experience of seeing Damien Rice live in Ireland was one of his fondest childhood memories.
‘The Orange Room’ was Ed’s debut EP released in 2005. After moving to London in 2008, he played almost every day of the year in 2009 before touring with Just Jack in 2010. Following the posting of a SB.TV video, he went on tour with Example. His ‘Loose Change’ EP released in 2010 featured the original version of his multi-platinum song ‘The A Team’. When he met Jamie Foxx at an open mic night in LA, he began recording at his house while staying at his studio. ‘No.’ was Sheeran’s breakthrough song in 2011. Wiley, Devlin, Ghetts, and others are featured on the ‘5 Collaborations Project’ EP. After signing to Asylum/Atlantic Records, he released the album ‘+’, which included the singles ‘Drunk’, ‘The A Team’, ‘Lego House’, and ‘You Need Me, I Don’t Need You’. The album reached the top of the UK charts and was the ninth best-selling album of the year.
The One Direction song ‘Moments’, released in 2011, was co-written by Ed Sheeran. The following year, he won the BRIT Award for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough of the Year. Following that, he toured the US with Snow Patrol. As part of the episode ‘Dangerous Liaisons’ of the Vampire Diaries, his song ‘Give Me Love’ was featured. In 2012, he performed at both the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and the closing ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics. He wrote One Direction’s number one hit ‘Little Things’ and collaborated with Taylor Swift on her song ‘Everything Has Changed’. As a result of Elton John’s refusal to give Sheeran a solo performance at the 2013 Grammys, Sheeran performed with the singer. During the 2013 tour with Taylor Swift, he appeared on Lupe Fiasco’s ‘Old School Love’ and Naughty Boy’s ‘Top Floor (Cabana)’.
‘I See Fire’ was included in ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ end credits in 2014, and he released his second number one album, ‘X’, produced by Rick Rubin. It debuted at the top of both the UK Albums chart and the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Sheeran’s first UK number one single, ‘Sing’, was the album’s lead single.
Ed won British Male Solo Artist and British Album of the Year in 2015 for ‘X’. As part of the same year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, he also co-hosted. December marked the beginning of his year-long hiatus.
He ended his hiatus in 2016 after winning two Grammys for his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’. With the prospect of his third studio album ‘Divide’, he released two new singles in 2017: ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’.
