About Ami Mishra
The Indian singer-songwriter Ami Mishra (born 14 July 1987) hails from Mandla, Madhya Pradesh. From the film Hamari Adhuri Kahani, he composed the song Hasi. Additionally, he makes independent music along with bollywood projects.
Early Life of Ami Mishra
Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, is where Ami was born. Originally from a middle-class family, he now lives in the city. His father is a government employee and he was raised in different cities wherever his father was posted. His mother is a housewife and he has a younger brother. He attended Saraswati Higher Secondary School, Seoni, and RDPG College, Mandla, for his schooling and graduation. As a result of his post-graduate studies in Indore, his passion for music developed there as well. During college, he played in a band and participated in reality shows. Music has been a passion of his since then.
CAREER
Ami started working at a multinational company in Indore after completing his MBA from Indore Management School. For a while, he worked there, but he found the corporate life boring and decided to make a career in music. In order to play at restaurants and private parties, he quit his job. In 2014, he moved to Mumbai even though his parents weren’t happy with him pursuing his passion. His song was selected for a film after struggling for seven months with Vishesh Films. In Hamari Adhuri Kahani, directed by Mohit Suri, Ami debuted with the song Hasi. Currently, he is working on a song for the film Half Girlfriend called Lost Without You.
