Kate Upton is one of the most famous models in the world today. She’s been named Sports Illustrated’s Sportswoman of the Year twice, she’s graced covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Elle, Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Men’s Health, and many others, and her Instagram account boasts over 15 million followers. But what makes Upton truly special is that she’s become a global superstar while still being just 23 years old. And now she wants to make sure everyone knows about it.
Upton recently launched a campaign called #America’sFavoriteBombshell, where she challenges women across the globe to prove they’re better than her. In the video, she declares herself the “face of beauty,” and asks people around the world to vote online for their favorite bombshell.
In fact, Upton says she has no intention of stopping there — she wants to use her fame to help change the way young girls think about themselves. “I want to inspire girls to believe in themselves,” she told Forbes earlier this year. “They’re amazing.”

Career
Jennifer Lawrence has been acting since she was three years old. Her mother, Karen Johnston, put her daughter into a play called “The Miracle Worker,” and it became her first professional role. At age five, she starred in another production, “Annie.” She continued to act throughout high school and college, and even got a part in the 2006 film “Winter Passing.” After graduating from Brigham Young University, she began working professionally. Her first major role came in 2009, playing Katniss Everdeen in the action movie “The Hunger Games.” She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the 2012 drama “Silver Linings Playbook.” She reprised her role as Katniss in 2013’s sequel, “Catching Fire,” and again in 2016’s “Mockingjay Part 2.”
Lawrence has also had roles in films such as “X Men Origins: Wolverine,” “I Am Legend,” “Cowboys & Aliens,” “The Beaver,” “The Burning Plain,” “The Hunger Games,” “21 Jump Street,” “Silver Linings Playhouse,” and “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” She also played the superhero character Mystique in the X-Men movies. Personal life
Upton grew up in a small town called Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. She attended Orangeville District High School where she played soccer and basketball. At age 12, Upton became a vegetarian. Upton later moved to Los Angeles, California, where she began modeling professionally. Upton married Eric Johnson in 2004; they divorced in 2008. She met Justin Verlander while he was playing baseball for the Detroit Tigers. They dated briefly in 2010, but it did not end well because of his infidelity. Upton and Verlander got engaged in 2012 and married in 2013. They have one child together named Jocelyn Rose.
In 2007, Upton signed with Wilhelmina Models in New York City. While working there, she posed for Playboy magazine. After signing with Ford Models in 2009, Upton left Wilhelmina Models and signed with Elite Model Management.
In 2011, Upton posed for a spread in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Her cover shot received mixed reviews, with some criticizing her body shape and others praising her beauty. Also in 2011, Upton starred in the film Burlesque alongside Christina Aguilera, Cher, and many other Hollywood stars.
She posed nude for the August issue of Maxim magazine. In 2012, Upton posed naked for the April edition of Vogue Hommes Japan. She modeled lingerie for Victoria’s Secret’s annual fashion show in December 2012.
In January 2013, Upton announced plans to start a clothing line called Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. On February 7, 2013, she confirmed her pregnancy with Verlander. She gave birth to their daughter, Jocelyn Rose, on July 10, 2013.
On October 23, 2013, Upton filed for divorce from Verlander, citing irreconcilable differences. Upton and Verlander reached a settlement agreement on November 21, 2013, and finalized the divorce on December 4, 2013.
In September 2014, Upton revealed that she had breast implants. She told Harper’s Bazaar that she wanted bigger breasts to help boost her self-esteem.
