Lovely Lyrics – Billie Eilish

Lovely

Thought I found a way

Thought I found a way out (found)

But you never go away (never go away)

So I guess I gotta stay now

Oh, I hope some day I’ll make it out of here

Even if it takes all night or a hundred years

Need a place to hide, but I can’t find one near

Wanna feel alive, outside I can’t fight my fear

Isn’t it lovely, all alone

Heart made of glass, my mind of stone

Tear me to pieces, skin to bone

Hello, welcome home

Walkin’ out of town

Lookin’ for a better place (lookin’ for a better place)

Something’s on my mind (mind)

Always in my head space

But I know some day I’ll make it out of here

Even if it takes all night or a hundred years

Need a place to hide, but I can’t find one near

Wanna feel alive, outside I can’t fight my fear

Isn’t it lovely, all alone

Heart made of glass, my mind of stone

Tear me to pieces, skin to bone

Hello, welcome home

Whoa, yeah

Yeah, ah

Whoa, whoa

Hello, welcome home

About Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish, in full Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell, (born December 18, 2001, Los Angeles, California, United States), American singer-songwriter who gained recognition for the song “Ocean Eyes” in 2015 and became the youngest person to win the Grammy for album of the year in 2020.

Her parents were inspired by Hanson, a ’90s pop band formed by homeschooled brothers from Tulsa, Oklahoma, to teach their children at home and encourage them to explore passions outside of the traditional education system. Eilish experimented with horseback riding, dance, and singing as a member of the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus as a child. A song he wrote and produced for his band at the time, “Ocean Eyes,” was enlisted to be sung by Eilish’s elder brother, Finneas Baird O’Connell, who performs under the name FINNEAS. As a result of the song’s success, Eilish signed with the boutique label Darkroom in the summer of 2016.

Childish Gambino and Tyler, the Creator are among the hip-hop artists who inspire Eilish’s music. She released her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? This album reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart on March 29, 2019. Eilish’s song “Bad Guy” was her first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and it won a Grammy in 2020 for song of the year. The single “Everything I Wanted,” which Eilish released in 2019, was later awarded the Grammy for record of the year. 2021 marked the release of the documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry. Her second studio album, Happier than Ever, was released later that year, and it was noted for its confessional songs, some of which deal with the downsides of her celebrity status. Her song “No Time to Die” received the Oscar for best original song for the James Bond film of the same name in 2021 (with FINNEAS).
