Venice International Film Festival kicks off tomorrow, September 5th, with the opening ceremony featuring performances from Sting and Elton John. Throughout the festival, filmmakers will present their latest projects including “The Death of Stalin,” starring Woody Allen; “The Lighthouse,” directed by Robert Eggers; “Avengers: Endgame;” and “Rocketman.”

On Wednesday, September 6th, the MTV Video Music Awards take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Hosted by Katy Perry and Nick Cannon, the awards show airs live beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on MTV and Fuse.

In addition to the aforementioned events, several big name designers will be attending New York Fashion Week. On Tuesday, September 12th, Michael Kors will host his Fall 2018 menswear presentation during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. And finally, amfAR’s annual gala takes place tonight, September 10th, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
